Your SF State ID is a nine-digit number assigned to you during the student application or hiring process. Your SF State Login and Password and two-factor authentication (2FA) device will allow you to access SF State resources including:
Wi-Fi, email, Global Protect VPN, Box at SF State, Online Course Content, and other web resources.
Use your SF State Account as your Single Sign-on (SSO) at the SF State Sign in page
- SF State Login: nine-digit ID number with the domain "@sfsu.edu", e.g., 912345678@sfsu.edu
- SF State Account: 912345678@sfsu.edu and your password
- 2FA Account: required to use SF State Resources
- Email address: send and receive messages, e.g., accountname@sfsu.edu
